welcome in, have a seat, get comfy
Hi!
I’m Manny. I’m excited to meet you.
why does this site exist
If you’ve ever sat behind your computer after finishing an album, wrapping up a shoot, or finalizing your next post, and thought, “… now what?” this site is for you.
You’re not alone. Marketing is confusing, and the gatekeepers at the top of the food chain have a vested interest in keeping it that way.
For decades, marketing has lived behind velvet ropes. To get anything out to the public, you’ve either needed a massive budget to compete with major studios and entertainment companies, deep agency connections to build engaging creative assets, or backroom contacts to push your project to the top some publisher’s promo list. A handful of networks and publications deciding what deserves oxygen. If you wanted your creative projects to be promoted, you had to earn permission from the machine, climb the ladder, and hope your unique voice survived the process intact.
That world is cracking open.
Now, authenticity is overtaking manufactured. Originality is overtaking synthetic. Something made with care, intention, and clarity can find an audience without asking for institutional approval. You don’t have to look far to see this play out. Take Season 5 of Netflix’s “Stranger Things” and compare that to Season 1 of Crave’s “Heated Rivalry.” One had a production budget of $50M per episode, while the other only cost $2M per episode. Ask yourself which release has been dominating headlines this month. This is the quiet miracle of independent media and the not-so-quiet revolution of social platforms. When something is truly resonant - real people telling real stories to real audiences - it doesn’t need to shout. It just needs the right conditions to move.
That’s where I come in. That world is cracking open, and I’m your wedge.
This blog, and this site more broadly, is my space to explore how modern storytelling actually works, not in theory, but in practice. What I’m committed to here is honesty about what cuts through, curiosity about where culture is heading, and usefulness for anyone trying to build something meaningful in a crowded feed.
What I Believe
I believe that digital and social marketing are all about authenticity.
Less about calculated virality and more about integrity.
Less about board rooms and chasing some flash-in-the-pan trend, and more about individuality, sincerity, and honesty.
It’s 2026 - people are smart. Very smart. We know when we’re being sold to. Audiences don’t connect with products or projects, they connect with stories that help them make sense of who they are, what they care about, and where they’re going. The brands, artists, and creators that win now are the ones who understand this.
I also believe we’re in a transition period. Traditional marketing still exists - think your high-gloss Super Bowl ads, Times Square billboards, or front page magazine spreads - but it’s becoming crowded, more expensive, and less trusted. Meanwhile, cultural storytelling, the kind that feels human and grounded, is becoming the most valuable currency there is.
This site is about navigating that shift with intention and clarity.
What I Do
At the core of my work are three services that often overlap, speak to one another, and are strongest when they’re treated as a system rather than silos.
Narrative Development
Before tactics, before platforms, before content calendars, there’s story. I work with clients to define the narrative spine of what they’re building: what it stands for, what problem it’s actually solving, and why it deserves attention right now. This isn’t brand fluff. It’s clarity. When the narrative is right, everything else moves faster and with less friction.
Social Media Strategy
Social isn’t just distribution, it’s environment. Each platform has its own language, incentives, and cultural norms. I help shape strategies that respect those differences while staying anchored to a consistent point of view. The goal isn’t to be everywhere, it’s to be unmistakable somewhere, and then expand with purpose.
Campaign Management
Ideas don’t live unless they’re executed well. I manage campaigns from concept through launch and iteration, making sure narrative, creative, and performance stay in conversation with each other. This includes aligning teams, timelines, and feedback loops so nothing gets lost between the idea and the audience.
What You Can Expect Here
This blog will be a mix of thinking out loud and practical insight. You’ll see posts about cultural shifts in media, breakdowns of campaigns that worked (and why), reflections on independent creators and brands finding their footing, and honest takes on what’s no longer effective, even if it used to be.
I won’t pretend there’s a single formula. There isn’t. But there are patterns, principles, and questions worth asking, and that’s what I’ll spend time on here.
If you’re an artist, a founder, a marketer, or someone building something slightly off the beaten path, this space is for you. My commitment is to keep it thoughtful and actually useful, not performative thought leadership for the sake of it.
Thanks for being here.
